In 1928, Scharfenberger Maschinenbau was founded as a small family business in the heart of the Palatinate region.

Our company was founded over 90 years ago in Wachenheim an der Weinstraße by Franz and Katharina Scharfenberger. Starting as a locksmith’s shop with the sale and repair of wine-growing equipment, we evolved into a specialst in the development of grape processing equipment, such as the „Winzerross“. Over time, we
became a full-service provider for grape processing systems. The Europress grape press was developed in the 70’s and became the centrepiece of our business. Thanks to the high quality, modern technology, and reliable customer service, we are successful business partner worldwide.
