Thank you to all of our guests for visiting us.
Harvest autumn 2021
At grape harvest '21, we visited some of our customers in the Palatinate and Rheinhessen with a small film team, as well as two winegrowers' cooperatives and their realized plant projects.
Every winery has individual requirements for the EUROPRESS so that the autumn runs smoothly and a good wine is guaranteed. We are particularly proud that all winegrowers reported on their positive experiences! For this we give our best every day.

Helping hands for Ahr-wineries
Thanks to many rescue services and committed helpers, the extent of the flooding in the affected regions was partially visible. In the Ahr Valley in particular, as a long-term partner of some wineries, we would like to make our contribution to contain the disaster with the options available to us.
On Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 we drove 5 of our Europress-grape presses to the Ahr valley to support the affected wineries with the grape harvest.
On a walk through our production you will meet a highly motivated and diverse team. A good team spirit is very important to us!
Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande
In the Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in France, a symbol of the Médoc, two EUROPRESS EP 44 have found their place in the course of the technical modernization. Filled through a sliding hopper, the two machines guarantee pressings that meet the company's highest quality requirements.
It is the "SOLUS" programming that makes it possible to obtain a perfect pressing result in terms of extraction and juice flow. The associated remote control allows users to control the juice outflow and operate the press at the same time. A press program is created in real time, perfectly adapted to the grapes.

First operation of the new plant
The new grape reception of the winery Lenz Moser in Austria.
Just in time for the grape-harvesting in 2019, the new grape reception was put into operation.
During the conversion of the winery the following was realized:
• destemmer Scharfenberger AS 60 (40-60 t/h) + crusher
• 3 x grape presses Europress T200 (20.000 ltr.)
• installation of stainless-steel bases, frame construction and catwalks.

SERVICE IN DOWN UNDER - AUSTRALIA
In January, our technicians did customer service in southern Australia:
The Europress S150 presses (dual system / 15,000 liters) were commissioned directly from the overseas container in receipt and at the respective wineries in the King Valley (northeast of Victoria).
In addition, several presses (Europress T250, T60) were set up in the beautiful wine-growing region Barossa Valley (about 70 km northeast of Adelaide).
In the midst of the heat record and the tight workload, great pictures were taken.
SILVER AWARD - HUMIDITY CONTROL
INNOVATION RECEIVES HIGH AWARENESS ON THE BASIS OF INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA
Our participation in the innovation competition was highly honored on the occasion of the INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA HORTITECHNICA 2018: The "HUMIDITY CONTROL" residual humidity measurement honored the expert jury with a SILVER award in the category "Processing and Process Control".
The residual humidity measurement values are digitally and precisely collected inside the press drum via a special sensor. The current value is displayed on the large touch display of the press control system at the end of each pressure stage and can be assessed directly thereafter.
The intelligent pre-processing of the measurement values allows the user to set the residual humidity degree at which either a must separation or a pressing program end should be carried out.
Our managing director Rudolf Fischer received the Silver Award with pleasure. This was presented following the opening of the INTERVITIS by the President of the German Winegrowing Association (DWV) Klaus Schneider, as well as the German Wine Queen Carolin Klöckner.
We are very proud to say thank you and pass on this great award to all our employees whose untiring dedication is the basis for this success.
We mourn for Bernd Scharfenberger
We mourn the death of our founder and managing director
His struggle against a brief, severe illness has come to an end.
Until shortly before his death he devoted his considerable energy, great knowledge, and enormous understanding of human nature to the continuing development of his company.
With far-sightedness, skill and sheer ability combined with great commitment, he transformed the family’s small workshop in Wachenheim into a successful enterprise active throughout the world.
All who worked with him will remember with gratitude his openness and humanity.
We will hold the deceased in honoured Memory.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT OF PRESSES IN A TRIANGLE
This installation at 'Weingut Stadt Krems', Austria, was completed in good time for the start of the 2015 grape harvest.
The new grape plant was made up of a 7m long Scharfenberger whole-grape conveyor belt, three EUROPRESS T 52 grape presses, and three STHIK grape trailers.
For perfect charging and pomace disposal, the presses were ideally arranged in a triangle.
